Morgan Nederhiser and Ted Nugent

Morgan has managed hotels for Holiday Inns, Inc., Days Inns Management Company, Tollman Hundley Hotels in New York, Inn Development & Management in Chicago, Lodging Enterprises, Inc. in Wichita and Hotel Management & Development in Boston.

As the Vice President of a Twin Cities management company he directed the operations of the 18 hotels, established all policy and procedures for both the limited service and full service properties.

His professional experience has provided him with the ability to perform swift turn-arounds with under-performing assets, consistently increase revenues while reducing expense loads. He has managed facilities with food and beverage operations ranging from casual dining to convention facilities that service over 3,000 guests.

Morgan has refranchised countless hotels, repositioning them for maximum market penetration and efficiency. His sales and marketing work was recognized when he was the recipient of 2 International Marketing Excellence Awards. He has co-developed direct mail software for use at limited service hotels and has developed and coordinated the national marketing for over 70 hotels for Days Inns of America.

Morgan’s background has provided him with expert knowledge and capabilities in management, development, repositioning properties and sales & marketing.

Jon Stensland, Vice President

Jon serves as a the Chief Financial Officer of a Twin Cities based development company were he is responsible for all hotel accounting, financing, transitions, and property systems development.

Jon has been a Corporate Controller of a hotel management and ownership company, for over three years, providing him with expert hotel knowledge and understanding.

Prior to his corporate experience, he spent four years as the Controller for a 200 room full-service hotel. Jon has financial experience in all phases of the hotel industry, from property level to corporate level, from resort and full-service hotels to limited service hotels.

Jon has worked with MDA - Hospitality Consultants for the past four years, preparing Loan Packages and supervising the accounting services for limited and full service hotels. Our work has been successful in achieving funds for refurbishments, acquisitions, new construction and permanent financing. Our projects have ranged in size from $450,000 to $49.0 million.
